Bonifacio Garden, located in Boring, is owned and operated by Ricardo and his family. Ricardo is from Oaxaca, Mexico, specifically the Mixteco native people and has been farming since he was 7 years old. Ricardo grows crops that are reminiscent of his homeland but also connects with people from other cultures.

Owner Maximina is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico and after settling in Oregon in 2001, she was missing her community. After discovering a local community garden, she re-connected with her roots and the art of farming that her parents taught her. Her farm in Boring is a dream realized and allows her to not only grow fresh, delicious produce, and farm eggs and honey, but also to provide jobs for immigrants and create opportunities for her community.

Owners Shaheeda and Mohammad named their farm after their youngest daughter, Sufiya. Originally from Bangladesh and Myanmar (Burma), Shaheeda and Mohammad came to Oregon to start a new chapter. Farming has always been a way of life for them, and they are passionate about growing fresh, nourishing produce for their community.
